Understand how credits work

Where to see your balance, the difference between your monthly allowance and credits you buy, and what to check before a big generation run.

Credits are what AI work costs. Generating an image, producing video, and the agents’ longer thinking all draw on the same balance, so it is worth knowing where it lives before you start a big run.

Find your balance

It is in the top bar of every page, next to your workspace name. That number is the balance for the workspace you are currently in, not for you personally, so switching workspace switches the balance.

For the detail, open Settings, then Billing.

Allowance and purchased credits are different

Your plan includes an allowance that renews. You can also buy credit packs on the billing screen, and those behave differently in a way worth remembering:

Buy extra credits anytime. They never expire and are used after your monthly allowance.

So purchased credits are a reserve, not a replacement. Your allowance is spent first each period, and the pack you bought is still there when it runs out. Buying early does not waste anything.

Plans differ by what they are for

The billing screen describes each plan by who it suits rather than by feature list: Starter is the full-featured solo plan, Creator is for teams and custom agents, Pro Label is for multiple artists, and Enterprise is for large organizations.

Your current one is marked Current Plan, and there is a Monthly and Yearly toggle.

Prices and allowances change, so read them on the billing screen rather than anywhere else, including here.

Before a large run

Video costs more than images, and images cost more than text. Before generating a batch:

  • Check the balance in the top bar.
  • If it is close, buy a pack first. It never expires, so there is no downside to having it sitting there.
  • Get your artist profile and likeness photos right beforehand. Regenerating because the setup was thin costs the same as generating it correctly the first time.

That last one is the real saving. Most wasted credits go on work that had to be redone because the inputs were not ready.

What to do next

If a generation failed and you are not sure whether it charged you, open Help & Support from your account menu. Support can see your workspace and check.
